Noelia Pontes is already champion of Spain

The quarry of the Olympic Shooting continues to progress. Noelia Pontes Villarrubia is from Cordoba, she is 14 years old and has recently been proclaimed Champion of Spain of Young Promises in Pit in the Youth category. She admires the shooters, also from Córdoba, Fátima Gálvez Marín and Paqui Muñoz, and she does not hesitate to encourage all the young women to practice shooting. "Don't be afraid! It's a very safe sport and we had a great time," he assures in an interview with Diario Córdoba.

SPANISH CHAMPIONSHIP OF YOUNG PROMISES

This weekend the Spanish Championship of Young Promises was held, with an attendance of 9 shooters from Extremadura, of which 5 were Juniors and 4 Promises.

Juan Antonio García managed to enter the final in fourth position with 113/125 and started in the same position on the number, which deprived him of the fight for the medals. The rest of Extremadura athletes performed well, being very close to entering the final.

Tomás Ruiz managed to break 107 of the 125 targets in the running, Fran Ruiz 106, Adrián 101 and Israel Tena with 95 in his first National test. In Promises, Juanma Píriz played a shoot-off to enter the final, the outcome of which kept him from entering it, remaining in 7th position.

Nuria Gabino managed to finish third in ladies-promises, Antonio Cabezas and Marcos García, after a not very successful first day, fought as much as possible on the second day to come back and show how good shooters they are, that's the attitude guys.
